1965 | Honda | CA 77 305 Dream
|
Beautiful black memory machine. Totally original, this bike is in great shape, at least an 8.25 on a 10 scale of un-restored bikes. Tank is glossy black with bright chrome inserts. Everything is straight, no evidence of it ever even falling over. Deep glossy black paint with a minimum of age related small scratches. Pipes are high chrome with no rust. It even has its original baffles. The odometer shows only 16000 miles on its very clear instrument face. All electrics work well, including hi/low beam headlights, tail/stop light, horn. Neutral and high beam indicators also work. Starts easily with the push of a button, runs smoothly and settles down to a nice idle. The carb is cleaned, the oil freshly changed, and it is ready for your ride back into the 60's. |

| 1971 | Kawasaki | F7 Enduro |
Wow, what a find! All original in fantastic shape! You must remember this one. The F7 was a groundbreaker with so many innovations that I hardly know where to start. Bold laser graphics on the tank, and pinstripes on the fenders--no one else was doing this in 1971. Hatta forks that had two separate openings for the axle rod. One for a longer street wheel base, the other for off road. On the top of the forks, still have the original rubber caps that sit over a variable setting selection. This bike still has the brush guard chains for the shift and brake levers. The front fender mud guard is like new. Oil injected with a rotary valve arrangement that delivered the highest output in its class. Start this guy up listen to that strong high pitched engine and you will move to the head of the 1971 class with this beautiful classic motorcycle |

| 1971 | Honda | CB 175 K5 | Title says 1972 but Honda used to do that with titles. This is definitely a totally original 1971 with that distinctive double stripe on the tank. Starts easily, runs strong in all rev ranges, and settles down to a low idle. Nice condition, seat is like new. Front fender like new, great sidecovers, but the tank does have some nicks, and some paint missing along the bottom. It also has small dent in the very front area. It is missing a kickstarter, but the electric starter works great. Since it is not up to the usual cosmetic quality with my bikes, I have it priced very right. With the tank painted this would be a great one. | $1250. | ||
| 1973 | Yamaha | CT 175 | What a neat survivor. Did you ever have one of these peppy reed valved 175's. Boy were they hot in their day! Beautiful Factory gold paint. Original unbent metal fenders with factory striping. Tank with original paint and decalling. Seat is excellent with no rips, speedo and tachometers with clear faces. This model even has a factory rack and its chainguard! Get back to 1973--fast | $1450 | ||

1979 | Yamaha | GT 80 |
Did you have one as a kid. Cute as a button and just what the doctor ordered to take you back to your mis-spent youth. All original and in very nice condition, No dents in the tank, seat is not ripped. It does have a small crack in the original front metal fender, but what do you expect--I think the kids really took it easy on it. Starts easily and runs good. The oil injector is still connected and it even has its original tool kit under the seat! I will have a better picture when the snow melts a bit. |

| 1980 | Suzuki | GS 750E |
Suzuki sold a lot of 750's but very few of the "Square Headlight" models. This bike is in absolutely excellent condition. It is hard to find a nick in the paint on the tank, stock pipes with no bluing, seat like new. This bike as close to new as you will likely find on an unrestored bike. All original except for a very nice pair of SW rear shocks. Beautiful deep blue paint, A powerhouse of a DOHC engine that starts easily, and runs stronger than my GS 1100! Everything works including the very trick Lighted Gear Indicator. New oil and filter change, air cleaner is cleaned--Buy a big bike for a change! |

| 1982 | Kawasaki | KZ 250 L
CSR |
Absolutely clean as a pin, nearly new. Totally original sweet 250 cc gas
saving cool. An early innovator with the Kevlar Drive Belt.
It is silent, and will probably outlive you and me. An easy 60
mpg transportation. Sparkling chrome, all electrics
work. Starts easily runs smooth. Also it has a super low
seat height of 28" for those who are vertically challenged!

| 1987 | Yamaha | DT 50 |
I wouldn't be selling this if I didn't have another one just like it! I ride it all around town for errands. It is so cool. How about a screaming to work at 9000 rpms and still get 60 M.PG! If you rode it conservatively you would still get 90+ MPG This bike is soooo cool. Water cooled, (with temperature gauge) six speed wonder. It runs right up to redline and screams for more. This bike is nearly new as you will find for an unrestored bike. It has just a super low 1300 miles. ! Everything works on it, you will not be disappointed

| 1982 | Kawasaki | AR 80 |
A one year, highly sought after model. This bike still has the factory shine EVERYWHERE The paint, the plastic, even the paint on the engine. This absolutely looks in showroom condition. You just have to love the little two stroke screamers. My DT 50 is peppy, but you won't believe what another 30cc can do for a small engine. This bike just screams--standing still! |

A Primer on Buying Classic Motorcycles--Please Read First of all, classic motorcycles are getting very hard to find in any kind of condition, and the market will continue to get tighter! One reason is that there are many wholesalers who specialize in sending them by the container-load overseas! You may have even met them buying everything in sight at Vintage Motorcycle Days! If you want an classic bike, the price is not going to go down! Second, even when they are in good condition, they are old, possibly older than you are. Actually if you are the same age or older than the bike, you will probably agree that they have aged better than you have! I do not restore bikes. Most of my customers want them in original condition. You can restore them multiple times, but they are only original once! I will clean them up, and get them in good running shape Many people get the idea that a used bike, even in excellent condition, is going to look like the 100 point restored bike that they saw in a recent classic show. No, that is not realistic. Even a bike in great original condition, if it was ridden at all, will have some nicks, scratches, and wear. Certainly the kickstand and underside of the frame will show some rust and wear. You just cannot get around that with original bikes. Finally, I spend a lot of time, effort and mileage to first determine whether the bike is cosmetically worth having for a discerning customer. If so, then I buy it so that I can bring them together where people can see them in one spot. Then the fun begins when I have to get them into good running condition. For example, have you ever smelled gas that has been in a tank for 10 years? Cleared out air box mice nests? Chased down virtually non existent carb parts? This is an expensive time consuming hobby, and I hate to work for free! Buying a bike long distance is difficult at best. Have you noticed that most Ebay bikes have a couple of pictures usually taken in a poorly lighted garage? Even though I take close-up pictures in good outside light, that is NOT like looking at the bike in person. None of these bikes are show quality. I offer anyone the opportunity to come and look at a bike so they can make an informed decision. All of the motorcycle's physical and mechanical condition is accurately described at the time I put the bike in storage waiting for a new owner. All motorcycles are sold with no warranty whatsoever. It is the buyer's responsibly to get new tires if needed. If you appreciate this type of high touch customer service, then you should consider looking at one of my motorcycles for sale.
